DC Press Club + Eric Holder

After shooting the Infinity Awards last night I raced back to the studio to edit and send images to style.com. At 2am I finally laid down only to rise 4 hours later as I was off to Washington, DC to the National Press Club. The NAACP LDF was having their spring luncheon and conversation with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder interviewed by PBS news anchor Gwen Ifill.Eric Holder, Gwen Ifill

American Italian Cancer Foundation

On Thursday night I was off to the magnificent NYC landmark, the Park Avenue Armory, which was the perfect venue for the American Italian Cancer Foundation Tasting Party and Silent Auction. Henriot offered a sampling of wines and Barbetta and Cipriani were among the participating restaurants. Actress Sofia Milos greeted guests and Maureen Milliard of Sotheby's auctioned off several fabulous items including a one week trip to Corsica. The super chic crowd donated to AICF's efforts in support of cancer research, education and early detection while celebrating an evening filled with the very best of Italian cuisine, culture and life.

Boys' Club Derby Party

Those of you who are not heading to Louisville and want to get a taste of the early Derby excitement in Manhattan opted to go to the Maritime Hotel Cabanas last night for pre-Kentucky Derby festivities where the Boys' Club held a fundraiser with mint juleps included. The room was filled with brightly colored frocks and - hats of course. Chris Lentz and Jacqueline Stahl hosted the evening all in support of the great community service and mentoring from the Boys' Club of New York.
