Planned Parenthood of New York held a cocktail benefit last night at the Park Avenue Armory. I was able to go upstairs in the rafters to take a wide wide shot of the entire magnificent space. guests; guest, guest, Lisa Beattie Frelinghuysen; guests; guest, Janet Maslin, JoAnn Smithguest, Diane Max; guests;guests
On Thursday night I was off to the magnificent NYC landmark, the Park Avenue Armory, which was the perfect venue for the American Italian Cancer Foundation Tasting Party and Silent Auction. Henriot offered a sampling of wines and Barbetta and Cipriani were among the participating restaurants. Actress Sofia Milos greeted guests and Maureen Milliard of Sotheby's auctioned off several fabulous items including a one week trip to Corsica. The super chic crowd donated to AICF's efforts in support of cancer research, education and early detection while celebrating an evening filled with the very best of Italian cuisine, culture and life.
I fell in love with photography while spending a year in LA immersing myself in self-assignments, model tests, and practically locking myself in the darkroom. It became clear to me that photography was my true calling. Prior to this I lived in Taiwan, attended the LSE in London, and worked in the film industry in LA. Returning to NYC I focused on capturing the brilliance and mood of a party, further refining my aesthetic. I find myself always in search of the story and beauty in every occasion.
